| The village of Paltsi, is one of the
most charming in the region of Eastern Pelion.Paltsi is situated
just 53km from the city of Volos, and is very easy to arrive at.
The location of Paltsi is perfect as it offers visitors the chance to experience the magic of the Aegean Sea, as well as being ideally situated so that you can explore many others of the Pelion peninsula. One site in the area worth visiting is the beautiful monastery of Agios Athanasios, which is actually located a few kilometers before the neighbouring of Lafkos. This monastery was built by Stergios Basdekis in 1795, and it's name day is celbrated on the 5th and 6th of September each year. |
